Spartanburg City Council Meeting
November 24, 2025
Good evening, and thank you.
I am deeply honored to stand here tonight, humbled by the trust placed in me to represent District 2 and to serve the City of Spartanburg.
Over the past several months—and truly for many years—I’ve had the opportunity to listen, learn, and connect with members of this community. Those conversations will guide the work I do on this Council moving forward. As I begin this role, I am committed to working collaboratively with Mayor Rice, my fellow City Council members, and our dedicated city staff. I recognize that real progress happens when we move forward as a team—openly, respectfully, and with a shared commitment to the people of Spartanburg.
My focus will be on a few core priorities: Supporting smart, thoughtful growth that protects the character of our neighborhoods. Addressing infrastructure challenges on the Eastside with long-term planning. Strengthening public safety by supporting our police, fire, and emergency services. Being a responsible steward of taxpayer dollars through transparent and efficient governance. And protecting Spartanburg’s affordability and quality of life for current residents and future generations.
I’d also like to take a moment to thank the many volunteers, neighbors, friends, and community members who shared their time, their voices, and their talents to help me get here. Your belief in this community and your commitment to civic engagement is what makes Spartanburg special.
I come to this role not only as a business professional, but as a neighbor and a mom who loves this city. My children are loved and thriving here, and I want Spartanburg to be a place where all families can feel safe, connected, and proud to call it home.
Thank you again for this opportunity. I am ready to roll up my sleeves, listen, and get to work.
